The beat continues at the Little Big Store! A small-town store with a big reputation, it’s the coolest place to shop in Mississippi — and not just because of its incredible selection of music-related merchandise. There is also the decor. Like a kind of time warp, the Little Big Store is reminiscent of 1970s record stores – and that’s on top of being located in a former 1880s train depot.

Not only are there remnants of when the building was a train depot, but the walls of the store are covered in posters, retro stickers and other music-related memorabilia, reminiscent of record stores from the old school of the 1970s.

The inventory is also a real blast from the past. The Little Big Store is made up of a maze of rooms, each filled with thousands or, quite possibly, millions of records in an array of genres.

Don’t get me wrong, though. Compared to a “well-organized hoarder’s house”, the inventory is quite easy to browse.
