Karnataka’s Interior Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday declined to comment on the ongoing investigation into the sex scandal involving former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) responsible for investigating the case has cracked and is carrying out roundups of people linked to the scandal.

âThe SIT has been formed and I have nothing more to say. The SIT was granted full freedom. I will not be making daily statements about (the investigation), âBommai said.
Earlier today, Bommai met with Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and reportedly briefed him on the progress of SIT.
On Friday, the SIT led by IPS officer Soumendu Mukherjee began interviewing five people, including four journalists working with regional news channels.
