4:27 PM June 30, 2022

An electric battery, a CD player and a digital stereo were stolen during a burglary.

The incident happened between 02:00 and 03:30 on Monday 23 May.

During the burglary, the entrance to the Markyate property was obtained through a French window, before the items were stolen.

An image of the stolen drum kit has since been released by Hertfordshire Police.

Detective Constable Maisie Ashwood, from the local Dacorum Crime Unit, said: ‘We have conducted several investigations since the burglary was reported to us and these are ongoing.

“As part of this, we are posting an image of the stolen drum kit in the hope that someone has encountered it.

“Perhaps you have seen it offered for sale?

“It is believed that the attacker took the battery out of the Markyate area.

“It would have been noticeable to anyone who saw it and I would ask anyone who has done so to please contact us.

“Any information could greatly assist our ongoing investigations.”
