HMV has confirmed when it will open the doors to its new store on Milsom Street.
After spending 30 years on Stall Street, the entertainment giant has decided to move further to Milsom Street, where Gap Kids used to be.
The HMV Stall Street store closed in mid-January and the team is preparing the new site.

They said it will be open on Friday February 11 and so far the move is going “very well”.
The outlet said in January: “After more than 30 years on Stall Street, today (January 16) is the last day for us here on Stall Street.
“We hope to see you all again on February 11 in our new store on Milsom Street. Thank you all for supporting us all these years.”
In a behind-the-scenes video on TikTok, a staff member shows viewers the new Milsom Street site, saying “there’s still a lot of work to do” ahead of the opening.

The new store with over 3,600 different vinyl albums and 2,700 different CDs, 3,750 movies and TV shows on DVD and Blu Ray 4K HD, as well as over 2,100 pop culture products and 200 t-shirt designs different.
Bath customers will be able to take advantage of amazing deals in store on opening day, including two vinyl records for £40, deals on anniversary albums and BRIT Award winners, plus great savings on tech with up to half price on select headsets and turntables.
Bath shoppers can also use the “hmv delivers” service, which allows customers to order any non-store items to be delivered directly to their doorstep.
The store is expected to attract signings and performances from huge UK and international artists, as well as popular local bands.

The store address is 17/18 Milsom Street, Bath, BA1 1DB and its opening hours are:
- Monday – Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
It is one of many businesses that have chosen Milsom Street to open this year.
Cream Cornwall, an interior design boutique, will also open on Milsom Street in March after choosing Bath as its first location outside Cornwall to expand there.
In addition, Umberto Fiorenza has obtained permission to use the former Coop Bank branch in Milsom Street, closed since May 2018, for his new project.
Concept images show that the company will be called Napoli Special or Floriani.
Further down, the Coppa Club will open in the former Gap store in March.
