The Lake St. Louis store includes a new health and beauty department, a pizza cove, a flower and gift shop, and a Mercy pharmacy.
ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – Dierbergs Markets announced it will unveil a new store layout on Tuesday when it opens its new location in St. Charles County.
The 71,000-square-foot store, the chain’s 26th in the St. Louis area, is located on the southwest corner of Ronald Reagan Drive and Orf Road in Lake St. Louis, adjacent to Lowes in the Shoppes of Hawk Ridge. Dierberg innovated on the project in December 2020.
“It was a total effort to complete the project in time for the opening by November 2,” said Greg Dierberg, president and CEO of Dierbergs Markets, in a statement. “My family is incredibly proud of the drive and hard work of both our teams and our many partners to create this beautiful new store.
Dierbergs brought in CD Cos. for the architectural and engineering works of the project and to PARIC as general contractor. The cost of the project was not disclosed. In addition to the new store, plans for the site include approximately 17,000 square feet of adjacent retail space and two future construction areas adjacent to Ronald Reagan Drive. Dierbergs and Capitol Land Co. have started securing leases, including The Post Sports Bar & Grill, Mercy Go-Health Urgent Care and Treats Unleashed as first engagements, officials said in announcing the opening date of the new store last week.
Dierbergs will hold a public ceremony Tuesday at 8:15 am outside the store to commemorate the opening before the Lake St. Louis store opens at 9:00 am. Normal hours for the new store will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Dierbergs closes all stores on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and December 26.
